What are the Canadian Language Benchmark Levels?

The CLB Levels

For reference, most people do not get hired until they have at least a CLB 3/4. However, for most workplaces the goal is to have staff at a CLB 6 to ensure safety and strong communication. If staff want to move into more supervisory, management or higher, it is recommended that they have a CLB 8 or higher.
