Welcome to my first blog post! This blog is something that I have been thinking about for awhile. Yet like many big ideas it was put off because I was afraid. Afraid to take a risk, afraid to put such a big idea out there for the world to see. There’s a zen saying that I heard awhile back

This is me taking a leap. I am here to support anyone on their journey of learning English and finding a job in Canada.
Depending on where you are in Canada (or anywhere in the world), it can be hard to access supports, it can be hard connecting with native English speakers when you are not confident with the language. It can be scary to ask questions when you are unsure of the right words.
This blog along with my Instagram (@prairieskyenglish) will be a place where you can learn English, Canadian culture, workplace skills and more from a safe space. No question is too crazy, there is nothing that you can’t ask. To be successful you need to understand it all.
